The Herald Scottish Student Press Awards were launched in 1996 to recognise and reward Scotland’s most outstanding student journalists.

The entry period for the 2008 awards is now underway and all students studying at Scottish Higher Further education establishments are invited to submit work into a range of categories.

The winners will be announced at an awards lunch on Wednesday May 28, at the Glasgow Film Theatre, Rose Street.
